The Walter’s Commons is one of the largest venues in Central Ohio and has very unique architecture.

One of the larger ballrooms in the Central Ohio area the Walter Commons with a sky-high ceilings, natural light, brick walls, grand staircase, stained glass windows, and a large and open feel. Just perfect for fairy tale weddings.

The staircase is a very nice focal point. The wedding party is introduced from the top for a dramatic entrance.

Wedding Ceremonies At The Walter's Commons

Just as receptions, Walter’s Commons offer a spectacular setting for your ceremony. Most of the times the ceremony will take place at the foot of the stairs with a center aisle. There will be a lot of natural light under the glass ceiling.

Once again, the stairway makes for a dramatic entrance for your ceremony too as all your guests will be facing towards the stairs.

Your photographer can get some cool shots of your ceremony by standing on the second and third story platforms at the opposite end of the room.

Wedding Pictures At The Walter's Commons

As previously stated, there is a large platforms that over look the entire commons area. This offers you the advantage of being able to get a unique angle of your pictures. And this works for the celebration in addition to the ceremony.

Another very popular option is to use the large steps for a backdrop for your pictures. You can put the wedding party, or the newly weds - either way its a dramatic scene!

They have two large screens very tastefully hanging on either side of the stairs - this allows for you to put together a slide show that played on a loop during the reception. 

There is a huge parking lot for all of your guests along with a police officer on site to oversee the lot.
